Infra-Red Night Vision Camcorder for Paranormal
Investigation
Does even thinking
about anything related to the paranormal send you running in the opposite direction? Or are you like the
millions of people who can’t get enough of everything relation to the paranormal? People claim to have seen
ghosts in just about every country in the world. If you’re one of the many who want to record not only what
you’ve seen but also what you’ve heard, then you’ll need an infra-red night vision camcorder.
Most people
interested in filming the paranormal relied on Sony brands to fill their needs; however Sony (as of this
writing) has decided to discontinue their infra-red night vision camcorders. Other manufacturers are currently
trying to fill the void so some research will have to be done to find the best brand. Also some manufacturers
have developed an infra-red filter that can be used on almost all night vision camcorders so this is a great
alternative; you can purchase a night vision camcorder that isn’t equipped with infra-red and then also purchase
an infra-red filter. There are a lot of used infra-red night vision camcorders that can be bought on auction
sites like eBay and they will probably be in high demand for quite some time.
Infra-red light
is invisible to the human eye so it will not affect your night vision in any way. Infra-red light works so well
when searching out the paranormal because colors seen in IR can be vastly different from visible light. For
example, if something appears black in visible light, it will be bright white in infra-red. There are a few draw
backs to using a night vision camcorder equipped with infra-red or an infra-red filter. It is very hard to
illuminate a large area and they are sensitive to small particles like dust and pollen. However, the good news
is that if you’re searching for the paranormal, nothing will work better than an infra-red night vision
camcorder, even with its few flaws. Investigators feel that ghosts move quickly and whatever ghosts are composed
of, it is more sensitive to reflecting infra-red light.
